Kolarovski, Goce (1959 - 2006, Skopje). Macedonian composer of orchestral, chamber, choral, vocal, and piano works that have been successfully performed throughout Europe, as well as in Asia.
Prof. Kolarovski studied at the Faculty of Music in Skopje, where he graduated from the composition class of Vlastimir Nikolovski in 1984 and the conducting class of Fimcho Muratovski in 1992. In 1986-87, he studied with Sergey Slonimsky at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg.
His music has been performed throughout Macedonia, as well as in Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Moldova, The Netherlands, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, and Ukraine.
Since 1986, he has been a professor of analysis, composition, form, orchestration, and 20th-century music literature at the UKIM - Faculty of Music in Skopje. In 1999, he co-initiated the Ohrid Multimedia Composers Workshop and remains a teacher there.
